I am totally enjoying being pregnant. It’s kind of funny that I am because I was getting ready to put off trying for another baby for a few months or so. I really did not want to be pregnant ALL summer & if we would have conceived later like this or next month, I would have been.

Food has been GLORIOUS. I think about food all the time now, . I am thinking my due date is anywhere from mid-June to early July. I have a doppler, but I haven’t tried to pick a heartbeat up with it yet, as I’m sure I need to wait another week or so to catch it. This pregnancy is going to be very low key. I will be seeing my midwife & very possibly the doctors at the high risk clinic as well. I do plan to get regular medical care with this pregnancy, but I plan to decline any cervical checks or those useless (at least they always were for me!) Fetal Fibronectin tests. I’ll be getting one or more ultrasound scans like usual to check extra carefully for neural tube defects, but we plan to keep the sex of the baby a surprise until birth.

I’d love to have a girl (as would K) but we’d be happy with another boy, too.

I don’t know what’s going on with me. AF is late, but tests have come back negative (as late as Saturday, I’m out of tests). I’m just trying not to think about it. I’m too busy anyhow.

So FF had my ovulation date wrong. According to them my period should have arrived today & my temps are high as can be. I manually changed it to two days later (about when I think I ovulated) after I got a negative test result on Sunday. I figured if AF showed up today, I’d change it back- but I really don’t think it will.

As freaky as it seems, my chart looks very close to how my TTC chart with Ella looked.. possible implantation dip & a triphasic pattern.

The crazy thing about changing my ovulation date manually is now my due date would be 6.9.08, same due date I had with Ella! I’m still fully expecting to get AF around Thursday however. If it doesn’t show up by then, I’ll try another test.

Just four days until FFs test date! I’ve got four digital tests coming & if they get here before the 2nd, I’ll test either Sunday or Monday. Or maybe I’ll just wait to see if AF arrives on Tuesday so I don’t waste a test!

So I am, as of today, on cycle day 22- 9 days past ovulation. Fertility Friend says to wait until October 2nd to test. I think I might test on the 29th-1st though. Maybe I’ll just wait it out to see if AF arrives on the 2nd, who knows. I hope I can wait that long!

I don’t have really any symptoms yet. I HAVE been much more tired than usual & there are a few things that are making me go hmmm.. but I’m trying to not expect anything. I really don’t want to set myself up for a letdown! Other girls on the FF board group I am in are already having symptoms at like 5 days past ovulation. I think I would drive myself crazy if I thought hard over every little thing..

Seems I’m only posting “trying to get preggo” stuff in here.. that’s not what I intended when I started this blog, but I don’t want it all over at the family blog, so here it is!

Other than my impatience, I really am doing very well lately. Work has been bringing in great money lately- allowing for us to catch up with bills & stuff & to throw a bit of it around on yarns & other fun crafty things.
